A week ago, I had zero users, and today, over 20 people are using my software I feel like I'm on top of the world – I might just celebrate with a coffee alongside Elon Musk.

I spent three months building Cyclips, and it was tough, especially working alone. Many times, I wanted to quit, but I pushed through—I didn’t want my project to become just another unfinished idea. Even when family and friends doubted me, I stayed strong.

Cyclips uses AI to turn long videos into short clips, adding viral captions and auto-reframing. I share updates on my Discord every three days. This is software I personally use—building something you'd use yourself is key.

Alright, back to the present! Building the software was one thing, but getting users? That’s a whole other game. As a full-time coding boy, I had to crack open my brain and dig deep to find my inner marketing self. Through a lot of outreaching to potential users, I figured that the best wat to promote my app is to use it myself and post those clips on social media. I will update you guys on how it goes and if you have any suggestions, please let me know. I am planning to launch on ProductHunt soon as well.

Regarding the UI of my software, I know for a fact I did a pretty good damn job. I didn’t know building a video editor was that complicated, but hello? I made it happen I wanted to say thank you to those who checked out my software and provided feedback, they are all valuable. I still have a long way to go.

Thanks for reading my story. I woke up today, thinking I want to share my story to people that did not ask. So yeah, I will be posting more often.
